Illusion Softworks was founded by Petr Vochozka in the Czech Republic in 1997, and produced some successful games, including Mafia. In 2008, Illusion was purchased by Take-Two Interactive and was renamed to 2K Czech. In 2014 the main office in Prague was closed, leaving the only division in Brno.

3rd Logo (April 30, 2000-2008)

Logo: We see a strange orange figure with "illusion" and "softworks" below it.

Variants:

  • On Mafia, the logo is preceded by a long cutscene, where the gangster burns the logo on the arm of another gangster.
  • On Vietcong, the logo zooms below and remains there, while a sequence of other logos pass by.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Editor's Note: None.

4th Logo (August 23, 2010)

File:IY uUfQgnHcUbcVRD6JWTQ25706.jpg

Logo: We move along the close-up of a pistol barrel, turned into slow motion and observe the 2K Czech logo carved on the barrel. When light passes it, the carve gleams blue. The pistol makes a shot and we chase the bullet, again turned into slow motion as the bullet moves with a trail behind and crushes the bottle with a 2K logo on it, which also floats slowly. After this, the Mafia II intro plays.

FX/SFX: Perfectly made animation.

Music/Sounds: An ingame-type tense soundtrack with a slowed down sound of shooting.

Availability: Appeared on Mafia II.

Editor's Note: Because of the slow motion, the logo is not harmful.
