Background

This is the production company of Roy Lee and Doug Davison, formed in 2001. The company didn't use a logo until 2015.

1st Logo (March 9, 2015-February 8, 2019)

Logo: Just a still logo on a black background with "VERTIGO ENTERTAINMENT" appearing in a geometric font.

Variant: At the end of The Lego Batman Movie, The Lego Ninjago Movie and The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, the logo shares the screen with the Lin Pictures (later Rideback) and Lord Miller Productions logos. On The Lego Batman Movie and The Lego Ninjago Movie, the logo is inside a white outline of a rectangle.

Technique: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Seen on Run All Night, The Lego Batman Movie, The Lego Ninjago Movie, Sleepless and The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part.

2nd Logo (August 25, 2017- )

Logo: On a white background, the text "VERTIGO" comes out from the background, and the "ENTERTAINMENT" fades in, making the background turn little darker after it finishes. "VERTIGO" gives off a shadow that extends to the right.

Variant: A still version exists, as seen in It and It Chapter Two.

Technique: CGI animation by Devastudios.

Music/Sounds: The opening theme of the movie. On the official upload of the logo on Vimeo, a quiet synth theme is playing.

Availability: Current. Seen on Death Note, It, It Chapter Two and the TV series Them.
