Visuals: On a white background, there's a blue ball outlined in gold with the word "THUNDER" to the left of it, and the word "PICTURES" to the right of it. Then, a yellow lightning bolt appears in the middle of the blue ball and begins to move up and down like a bolt of electricity. Under it is a copyright notice. The sequence then fades out to the Nickelodeon Studios logo.
Variant: On Nickelodeon Friends Variety Pack, the logo is still.
Technique: 2D animation.
Audio: The classic "castle thunder" lightning sound effect, heard when the lightning bolt appears. Sometimes an announcer will talk over it. On Nickelodeon Friends Variety Pack, the closing theme ("Better Than No One" from Ren & Stimpy) plays over the logo with no sound effects whatsoever.
