Background

These are the production tags for Telefe.

1st Logo (March 23, 1990-1999)

Visuals: On a black background, the 1990 Telefe logo is shown above "PRESENTA" in white. The font for the text may vary.

Variants:

  • The design of the balls may vary, these include:
    • A 2D appearance with one visible reflection on top.
    • A CGI variant with natural lighting.
    • A shinier CGI appearance with three round reflections on the top, bottom left, and bottom right of the circles. The spheres' center are dark.
    • Another CGI variant where the letters align with the spheres' edges.
    • A flat version consisting of just the main colors.
  • Sometimes, the logo is superimposed on the opening shot.
  • On a Midachi concert, "A" is added below "PRESENTA".
Technique: None.

Variants:

  • Videomatch: the logo flips in and each circle is shown to wear something. These include a burgundy cap, a gray pillar, and what appears to be an orange hand holding the right ball with one finger.
  • Amor Sagrado: a gold light ray scrolls to the right to reveal the 3D version of the logo against a flower ornate tan mirror. The ray then crossfades Telefe's logo into Mediaset's.
  • La movida de verano (1997): three glitter-textured balls fly in. After they stop, a faint glow flashes within them, revealing the text inside via ripple effect. The red ball sheds a red teardrop afterwards, followed by "Presenta" typing in below. Finally, two searchlights transition the logo to the opening of the program.
  • Polémica en el bar: the logo is seen as the sign of a bar.
  • La movida del verano (1998) there is a flash, followed by the debluring of the logo. Another flash cuts the logo to the next sequence.
  • Trillizos: the 3D logo is small and on the top center of the screen. "presenta a:" fades in below. Then, said text fades out and the spheres turn around with their backs facing the screen. While floating to the left, the balls morph into a gold circular blob, which would go on to form parts of the show's logo.

Technique:

  • Scanimation for the Videomatch variant.
  • Live-action for the Polémica en el bar variant.
  • CGI for most of the variants.

Audio: The opening theme of the program.

Availability: It was seen on many telenovelas and non-scripted programs throughout the 90's.

  • The 2D variant is most commonly used in the early 90's, appearing on Amigos son los amigos, ¡Grande, pa!, Una buena idea, among others. The latter has it set on a black background.
  • The shiny variant only appeared on Atreverse.
  • The alternate CGI logo was mainly used in the late 90's. It can be seen on Cebollitas, Duro de acostar, and La movida de verano, among others.
  • Modern prints of these shows may have this logo while others go straight to the opening of the show.

2nd Logo (2001)

Visuals: The 2001 logo is displayed on the bottom right section against a yellow, green, blue, and white foggy background. "fue una produccion de" is placed above a blue-green line near the center of the screen.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A different excerpt of the station ID's soundtrack.

Availability: It was so far only seen on original airings of Chiquititas season 7.

3rd Logo (2006-2007)

Normal version

Shortened variant

Visuals: A large spotlight covering up most of the screen reveals a white background containing the 2002 logo. Underneath the logo is the copyright notice in medium sea green and "TELEVISION FEDERAL - BS. AS. - ARGENTINA". The background light rotates before scrolling to the right.

Variants:

  • A shortened variant exists.
  • There is a later version where the copyright notice is in a vibrant shade of green, a larger size, and positioned underneath the logo. The font for the bottom notice also changed. Both the logo and text also have zoom-in animation (the copyright notice zooms out).

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A soothing orchestral note in the background alongside ascending piano notes and twinkling afterwards.

Availability: Like before, this was seen on original airings of shows from this period such as Caiga quien caiga. This typically succeeds the 2002 Telefe Contenidos logo.

4th Logo (2007-2008)

Visuals: Set on a white background, the 2007 Telefe logo is shown with the three circles' top halves gaining a blue, green, and red fill respectively. The copyright notice in gray and a small size is positioned to the bottom right of the logo.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A soothing bell/chimes soundtrack.

Availability: Original airings of Don Juan y Su Bella Dama and Caiga quien caiga have this logo at the end, succeeding the 2007 Telefe Contenidos logo.

5th Logo (February 11, 2008)

Visuals: The 2007 logo is set on a blue, ocean-like background with a flat picture of the globe scrolling towards the left. The animation for the latter loops.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Same as the 3rd logo.

Availability: Only seen on Короли игры.

6th Logo (June 9, 2008)

Visuals: Set on the same background as the 2008 ident (a cloudy blue background with moving white streaks), the logo zooms out and rotates with the balls rearranging to their normal position. The copyright notice in gray appears underneath through each letter zooming towards the left.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A soft orchestral fanfare.

Availability: It is so far only known to appear on the June 9, 2008 episode of Caiga quien caiga.

7th Logo (2008-2009)

Visuals: On a moving red background with a white glow in the center, the three balls from before fly into the left side of the screen while leaving a curved, transparent path. The windy path also forms the company name on the right. After the text is formed, water particles fall from the right and splash behind the circles, disappearing afterwards. The copyright notice and "LS. 84 TV CANAL 11 - BUENOS AIRES - ARGENTINA" fade in below the logo.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Same as the 4th logo.

Availability: Like the previous logos, it was seen on original airings of Los exitosos Pells, Susana Giménez, and Caiga quien caiga.

8th Logo (November 24, 2009-January 2011)

Visuals: The balls from the 2009 logo are shaded blue and sitting on a blue background. While the camera slowly backs away, a white light path appears on the bottom left, twirls, and zooms to the right, disappearing before it could reach the bottom center. It reveals the same text from before in white.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Three mellow piano notes start the sequence, followed by a reverse cymbal crash, a relaxed orchestral note, and twinkling noises.

Availability: Same as before. Original airings of Caiga quien caiga and Susana Giménez have this logo.

9th Logo (January-August 14, 2011)

Visuals: This is mostly an abridged, steel-tinted version of the station ID but with several differences: the rings disappear rather than form the balls, said objects appear via a fill effect rather than individual rings, and the copyright notice and channel number from before in a serif font are displayed below the logo.

Variant: An HD version sets the logo in a widescreen format.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: An alternate rendition of the station ID's rock tune.

Availability: Like the previous logos, it precedes the Telefe Contenidos logo at the time on original airings of many programs, which includes Herencia de Amor, Caiga Quien Caiga, and Botineras. It last appeared on the August 14, 2011 episode of the middle show.

10th Logo (Susana Giménez custom variant #1) (May 25-December 16, 2013)

Visuals: The three spheres from before are golden disco mirror balls sitting on top of "telefe presenta", also in gold. The text shines from left to right. Afterwards, the logo zooms in and it crossfades to the opening shot of the episode.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A harp glissando, followed by a dreamy synth jingle ending with an orchestral flourish and twinkling.

Audio Variant: On the first episode to use this logo, glittering sounds throughout the logo.

Availability: Seen on 2013 episodes of Susana Giménez.

11th Logo (Susana Giménez custom variant #2) (July 30, 2014-December 18, 2016)

Visuals: Multiple gold bokeh lights are floating, mainly on the right hand side. They all would come together in the center to form three gold balls from right to left. Before the sequence ends, "telefe presenta" fades in underneath.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: High-pitch sparkling and whooshes alongside the opening theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on Susana Giménez episodes from 2014-2016, which have this logo intact on the show's YouTube channel.

12th Logo (Susana Giménez custom variant #3) (June 25-December 10, 2017)

Visuals: On a black background, three blue-tinted crystal balls are spinning to the right. The same text from before in a bold font fades in below.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Quiet sparkling alongside the opening of the show.

Availability: Seen on 2017 episodes of Susana Giménez.

13th Logo (Susana Giménez custom variant #4) (July 14-December 15, 2019)

Visuals: Set on a rosy brown background are three golden balls with their reflections visible underneath. "PRESENTA" in white is shown below then and glitter particles are floating on both sides of the screen.

Audio: Similar to the 11th logo but with quieter sound effects and no whooshing.

Availability: Seen on 2019 episodes of Susana Giménez.
