Talk:Warner Bros. Television Studios

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

The last season of Ellen just premiered, and the first episode still uses the 2003 "Distributed by" Warner Bros. Television logo. And the "Distributed by" variant of the 2021 WBTV logo debuted on the August 31, 2021 episode of Extra, so will a later episode of Ellen use the 2021 WBTVD logo?

Concern

"TMZ replaced the Telepictures and WB logos with the new Fox Alternative Entertainment logo." Can someone confirm that it's real? / 14:34, 18 September 2021 (UTC)

Fuse the 2001 and 2003 logos?

I feel like the 2003 logo being its own feels redundant since it's pretty much the same basic concept as the 2001 one. I think the 2003 logo should be fused with the 2001 one. Plus, the only main differences between the 2001 and 2003 logos is that the latter is brighter and always lacks a byline. And that it has a different cloud background, which its description doesn't say anyway. GarfQC 21:10, 22 January 2022 (UTC)

In-credit 6th logo: should it be listed on its own?

Hey, so I know that currently, the white in-credit logo with the blue gradient background is listed as a variant of the 6th logo, but should it be split off as its own logo? It seems like in-credit notices tend to be given their own sections (like for Walt Disney Television's earliest credits, and as a whole 2nd section on the Columbia Pictures Television page), and this one seems to have gotten some usage beyond The John Laroquette Show, despite the page only mentioning it being used on Laroquette; from some cursory research I've done, this white shield has been spotted on airings of The Secret Lives of Men, Daddy's Girls, Everything's Relative, and such. Additionally, this white shield seems so drastically different from the "main" 6th logo that I don't exactly understand why it's been lumped in with that logo. Any thoughts on if it should be split off or not? Gizmoduck (talk) 02:05, 13 June 2022 (UTC)

Merge 2001 and 2003 WBTV Logos

I believe that after the successful merge of the 1987 and 2009 Gracie Films logos, I felt like it's time to do the same for the 2001 and 2003 Warner Bros. Television logos. This is because I felt like the background's the same, but the bylines are different. Why not consider separating per variation (2001 and 2003) the different appearances like no URL, no Distributed by text, etc.? PokeRapMonster (talk) 10:28, 18 November 2022 (UTC)

Who merged the 2001 and 2003 logos?!?! PokeRapMonster (talk) 08:18, 28 November 2022 (UTC)
I think TemaGub2002 did it on last Monday. TheRealMarcel2000 (talk) 14:03, 28 November 2022 (UTC)

Should we split the page?

It's pretty long and near impossible to browse on mobile. Where the split happens I'll leave up to whoever but I think this would be for the best. Logofreak98 Logofreak98 (talk) 17:50, 3 March 2023 (UTC)

The new WBTV logo appeared at the end of the Night Court Christmas special that aired earlier today. Vic Hawk (talk) 06:03, 24 December 2023 (UTC)

Really, I've never saw the footage of that new logo before, but I recently saw the image of the aforementioned logo from several hours ago. TheRealMarcel2000 (talk) 16:11, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
