Background

In May 2006, Liberty Media purchased IDT Entertainment, and its animation studio DKP Studios was renamed as Starz Animation Toronto. In April 2009, Starz Animation was spun off and renamed to Arc Productions.

1st Logo (January 29-March 14, 2007)


Visuals: On a white background, there is a vertical rectangle with the Starz symbol from the time inside it in white, just like the Starz Productions logo, but in blue instead of teal. Below the rectangle are the words "STARZ ANIMATION", with "STARZ" being bigger.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: The closing theme of the show.

Availability: Its only known appearance is at the end of various animated TV shows and the VeggieTales DVD "Moe and the Big Exit".

2nd Logo (October 6, 2007-January 11, 2008)


Visuals: On a white background, the normal Starz symbol is at the top. Below it are the words "starz ANIMATION", with "starz" being in a big, bold font and "ANIMATION" in a smaller, normal font.

Variant: An in-credit version exists.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: The closing theme of the show.

Availability: Only known to be seen at the end of various animated TV shows and the VeggieTales DVD The Wonderful Wizard of Ha's. The in-credit version can be seen at the end of various animated movies and The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything: A VeggieTales Movie.

3rd Logo (July 18, 2008-February 26, 2009)


Visuals: Same as the 2008 Starz logo, but under "starz" is the word "ANIMATION".

Variants: An in-credit version exists.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The opening theme of the film, composed by the Blue Man Group.

Availability: The animated variant only appeared on Space Chimps. The in-credit variant appears on animated shows at the time.
