DKP Effects

Logo (September 10, 2002-May 18, 2004)

Visuals: On a blue gradient background with three blue lights is the bluish white letters "D", "K", and "P" zooming in letter-by-letter as the bright blue DKP symbol (a hoop with two streaks making an infinity loop) spins around. Then the bluish white spaced out word "EFFECTS" appears under the letters and shines.

Variants:

  • Sometimes, there is no text at all.
  • Sometimes, the website address (www.dkp.com) is seen below the logo.
  • A longer version also exists. The sequence starts off with a bluish white screen fading in, which quickly fades to the logo, with a translucent light of the name flashing.
  • A medium-length variant also exists where the sequence starts off with the name's light flashing as the screen fades to the logo.
  • Sometimes, the background is just plain black, with the main logo being light blue and the DKP symbol being dark blue.
  • On most of their shows, the logo is in-credit.

Technique: CGI animation.

Audio: None or the closing theme.

Availability: Seen on the VeggieTales video "A Snoodle's Tale".

DKP Studios

Logo (March 10, 2004-March 11, 2006)

Visuals: On a black background, the camera rotates around to reveal a pair of motors turning a turquoise treadmill around, shaped like a infinity symbol. Two translucent mice are also seen running along the tops of the treadmill. After the camera stops rotating, the motors start to fade out as the track begins to glow a bright white, flashing to reveal the grungy text "dKp", with the "K" formed in-between the other 2 letters as negative space. Below is the grungy text "TUDIOS", and then a mouse brings in an "S" from off-screen to the left, and then pushes it into the text, forming "STUDIOS" and spreading the letters out before the mouse runs off. A byline for IDT Entertainment then appears below in dark blue.

Variants:

  • On most of their shows, the logo is in-credit.
  • A short version has the logo start with the treadmill becoming the logo. The IDT byline also appears in sync with the final squeak as well.

Technique: CGI animation.

Audio: The sounds of an exercise wheel squeaking as the mice are running, followed by a synthesized whoosh, one mouse squeaks and a clacking sound for when the letters in "STUDIOS" are knocked together. A final squeak from the mice is heard.

Audio Variant: On most VeggieTales videos produced by them, they use the theme of the end credits.

Availability: Seen on five VeggieTales videos from late 2004 to early 2006, such as "Sumo of the Opera", "Duke and the Great Pie War", "Minnesota Cuke and the Search for Samson's Hairbrush", "Lord of the Beans", and "Sheerluck Holmes and the Golden Ruler", as well as other media like Game Over, the Nerf N-Strike interactive DVD.
