Background

The Monon Color (梦龙彩色掌机) is a handheld video game console system manufactured and distributed by the Chinese toy company M&D during 2014. Intended to be a low-cost competitor to other handheld systems at the time, the Monon Color used 2D graphics comparable to the Game Boy Advance's performance and had 21 games released for it in total, most of them being licensed by franchises including Dragon Ball, Marvel and Roco Kingdom.

Logo (2014)

Visuals: Over a black background, the letters of "MONON COLOR", in two lines, appear and bounce up into position. A brief zooming effect is seen when the letters stop bouncing. At the end, two semi-circles of two lines draw in around the first N of "MONON".

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: A filtered synth note.

Availability: This is seen when booting up a Monon Color console after the M&D logo. The console was released exclusively in China.
