Background

This is the production company of producer and director Mike Mansfield, active from the late 1980's to the early 2000's.

Logo (May 8, 1992-Spring 1997)

Visuals: There is a blue silhouette of Mike Mansfield raising his right arm with his left lying down. Accompanying it is an in-credit notice reading "Mike Mansfield Television" or "A Mike Mansfield Production".

Variants:

  • Sometimes, a colored bar is placed underneath the Mansfield silhouette.
  • The Music Game has the logo zoom in and spin with the background crossfading to a black-blue gradient color.
  • On 1995 episodes of Just a Minute and The Exchange, the logo appears within the Carlton UK Productions logo.
  • On the James Whale Radio Show, both of Mansfield's arms are lowered.

Technique: A still, computerized graphic.

Audio: The ending theme of the programme.

Availability: Due to the company's lineup mainly consisting of unscripted programmes such as talk shows and game shows, they are very hard to find ever since they have stopped airing on television. Not to mention that some programmes use a simple in-credit notice instead of this logo. Some programmes using this logo include The Music Game, The Exchange, James Whale Radio Show, and Funky Bunker. After 1997, the rest of the company's programmes use an in-credit text and nothing more.
