It's the wiki's 15th anniversary today! Share your thoughts and memories here.

The CLG was the first online community I was truly a part of. I joined 7 years ago. Boy have we come a long way even since then what with dropping scare factors and cheesy factors, improving our article style and even moving platforms. For me, our proudest moment as a community was how we collectively stood up to Travis when he threatened to shut us down in 2020 and proceeded to rebuild our wiki bigger and better than ever without him.

Of course we wouldn't be celebrating today without the efforts of each and every editor who has contributed to this wiki in some way whether that's by adding images, writing descriptions, fighting vandalism or even just fixing typos and grammar. From the original contributors on KRS logos and the founding members of the original wiki to each and every user here today so many have left their mark on this site and hopefully many more will continue to do so into the future. To all of them and all of you, a huge Thank You!

Special thanks to User:PajamaFrix for the wetpaint-style modification to the cologneblue skin.

Yep, that style gives me plenty of nostalgia. And I would like to send my praise to Frix for how accurate the style looks back when the site used to be on WikiFoundry. Too bad it will only be used temporarily, I think.

Anyways, this was one of the first wikis I have ever checked out, probably before or after Wikipedia, and that was thanks to an ugly looking, MSPaint ant. I remember the 2011 logo and layout as well as every other new appearance since. I've never grew disinterested in logos and they have, in fact, only grew as someone who really craves nostalgia, imagination, and melodies. Initially, I was hesitant of joining the site because of how harsh and strict some of the admins were, but I gave it a chance after seeing myself interested in wiki-editing again after 2 or 7 years (depending if I pick when I was an editor or wiki-runner) and a bunch of cleanup being required after the switch to Miraheze and constant imperfections within the site. Because of the work and quality of the site as well as my contributions, I immediately got hooked into doing thousands of contributions to the wiki. It wasn't exactly perfect, but far from bad and perhaps even mediocre because this site showed me the fun inside coding and discoveries. It's only been three months since I have joined and ever since from the beginning on this site, my bond has become really attached to this wiki.

Going through the first-ever archived CLG Wiki pages is like stepping into a time machine back to 2007. Fun fact: I was a writer back in the WikiFoundry days (as BrunaRomano) around a year or so before the factors were removed. Also, loving the new theme. I'd like it to stay.

Gotta say, I got a bit of whiplash when I saw the Wetpaint theme, lol. But happy 15th anniversary to CLG.

On a side note, am I the only one who noticed the layout for this site briefly resembled an earlier version of itself? It resembled the first version of this site, as linked here.

tbh, i wish it could stay like this forever. (or at least have as an easter egg to toggle it.)

@Tmsl01: We will go back to the usual Medik look, but my plan is to leave the JavaScript and CSS in place so that anyone who wants to can use this theme by switching to the CologneBlue theme in preferences

Happy 15th anniversary! Feels like just yesterday when I discovered this place while browsing the internet on my 3DS (it wasn't yesterday, this was 9 years ago). I haven't been very active at all in the community but I still very much appreciate this website. Loving the 'new' theme too, was one of the only good parts about the WikiFoundry website. Here's to another 15 years! :)

Well I'm both used to this and the current styles. The Retro style was basically the one I used until the old wiki shut down.

Letting the Wetpaint/Wikifoundry style to be used for the 15th anniversary is perfect since we never got a proper option to switch to the old look until now, I have been active to the logo community since 2012 and this site since 2014, I still love this site to this day. CLG is a great wiki :)

Wow, I'm surprised that the website changed into a retro style for my memories.

Also, happy 15th anniversary, CLG Wiki!

Happy 15th anniversary! Man this old theme does bring up memories. I was a mod during the WP/WF days and I feel proud seeing how much this site has grown since.

It's been a fun ride the last few years I've been with the team. Glad to see the website still going strong. Happy 15th, CLG!

I know I didn't come around until 2020 when I was on Miraheze at the time, but judging by how it's been 15 years since the foundation of this wiki, I would say The Closing Logos Group Wiki was founded in 2007.

Same here. I loaded up the site today and I was thrown by the sudden change. I thought maybe there were technical issues, until I saw the banner.

Happy 15th anniversary CLG Wiki! There is one request I have, make the wiki more stable on mobile devices as it keeps crashing and reloading and I can’t edit since it crashes when I tap edit.

I can’t believe this wiki is 15 years old and the replica was amazingly done. I’m glad to say that I’ve been here for eight of those 15 years, joining in 2014, though I was a lurker for a few years prior. I had said and done some dumb stuff in my early years that I regret in hindsight, but didn’t we all? I was younger and stupid. By some miracle, I was promoted to moderator in 2018 (yeah, mods and admins were separate positions at WF, remember that?), and I became one of this wiki’s admins upon the migration in 2020. Now I’m much less active than I used to be (but still very active on the Discord), and along the way I’ve met so many great people. I hope this wiki remains active for years to come.

Well it's time to go back to the normal skin. Thank you everyone for joining the celebrations over the last 24 hours! If you liked this retro style, you can use it whenever you want by setting your skin to CologneBlue in your preferences.

Well it's time to go back to the normal skin. Thank you everyone for joining the celebrations over the last 24 hours! If you liked this retro style, you can use it whenever you want by setting your skin to CologneBlue in your preferences.

Will this skin see updates and fixes over time? As good as it is, its flaws are apparent on mobile devices (clunky formatting and difficulties making edits there while using this skin) and some pages haven't been transformed to resemble this layout such as the preferences settings page.
