To explain it the best I can, the moderation extension has us admins/moderators/bureaucrats check if the edits are done by spammers. If they aren't spammers, then we accept the edits. If it is spam, then we reject the edit. |

To add onto the above, the extension is also easily able to stop vandals, trolls and our regular LTAs before they can cause trouble, as we can easily review their edits and mark them as spammers or block them as needed. |

I appreciate the responses and I understand, but the downside is the pending review. That’s what bugs me. Trust me I’ve been on another Miraheze-related wiki to know why |

The moderation extension is to check and approve edits of users with less than 100 edits to help detect vandals and socks early on before too much damage is done. BTW this is my 650th edit! |
