Background

Fake Empire Productions is a production company owned by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage. It was originally formed in 2003 as "College Hill Pictures", before being renamed to its current name in 2010, which comes from a joke regarding their series, saying that they make "the fake versions of things".

Visuals: On a white table is parts of a notebook in the left corner and a yellow sheet in the right corner. The words "FAKE EMPIRE" appear written with pencil in the center, aligned to the left. Thick lines are made directly below and after a space above the words. Pencil scribblings gradually appear in the empty space of the logo, differing with each show. There are also some details on the table, which also differ in each show.

Variants:

Hart of Dixie: An arbor, stethoscope, jeep car, a pair of woman dress shoes and crocodile head outside. There are fingers seen below the logo.
Gossip Girl (2007 seasons 4-6 and 2021): An arch, car, hands holding the device, the Empire State Building and woman legs. There are three pencils, two sharpeners, and a yellow stick paper added to the left, and a small object at the right.
Chuck (seasons 4-5): A pair of sneakers, pen pocket, Nerd Herd car, notebook, and pistol. The left part of the screen is occupied by a pencil and its shavings, sharpener, and eraser. Plain papers replace the yellow case at the right.
The Carrie Diaries: The Chrysler Building, a pair of glasses, woman's legs in striped socks, metro train, boombox and the decorated word "CARRIE".
Cult: A car, hand with square mark, clapperboard with "CULT" written on, and a stage light.
The Astronaut Wives Club: People spectating, a parachute, and the American flag.
Dynasty: A mansion, jetplane, woman's legs and a ring. It also shares the screen with the Richard and Esther Shapiro Productions logo.
Runaways: A "keep out" door, buildings, Nemo logo, a ring, Brentwood sign, a wand and the wardrobe.
Nancy Drew (2019 series): The white table and other stuff are replaced by a coffee mat of The Bayside Claw on the red table with a mug on the mat and a spoon at the right of the table. Nothing is drawn.
Looking for Alaska: Nothing is drawn, but there's just a daisy.
Tom Swift: A pair of sneakers, an observatory, and a car. There also exists a still version of this.
City on Fire: The white table and other stuff are replaced by a newspaper on the blue table with a mug at the left and a spoon at the right. The company name's font is different.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: The sound of a pencil scribbling, the end theme of the show or none.

Availability: Seen on all the shows listed above. This however, doesn't appear on any of the company's films.
