Background

This was used as a vanity card on Scholastic's Clifford the Big Red Dog projects from the 2000s.

Logo (February 6, 2001-February 25, 2006)

Visuals: On an aqua blue background is a rounded circle consisting of a large red outline, a smaller golden outline and a lighter blue inner frame. In the circle is the head of Clifford, in the same art style as the 2000 television series. Rounded over him is the white text "CLIFFORD", written in American Typewriter Bold, the font that the franchise's logo uses. The logo slowly zooms in.

Variants:

  • On international airings of Clifford the Big Red Dog, a black "™" symbol fades on the right of the logo making the logo have two trademark symbols.
  • A widescreen version exists.

Technique: This is a digital computerized graphic with Clifford's head being hand-drawn.

Audio: None.

Availability: Usually seen at the end of physical media (VHS/DVD) prints of Clifford the Big Red Dog and Clifford's Puppy Days, as well as on international prints of the show. The logo first appeared when the show aired in Ireland in 2001.

  • This does not appear on PBS Kids airings of either show, as it was replaced by the PBS Kids funding bumper. It also doesn't always appear on physical media, as it and the PBS logo is sometimes cut off completely.
