Background

Chunsoft is a Japanese video game developer founded in 1984. The company is known for the Dragon Quest games. In April 1, 2012, the company was merged with Spike to form Spike Chunsoft.

Visuals: On a black background, a blue circle appears sliced revealing a yellow oval. The text, "Chunsoft" appears below.

Variants: An animated version exist. There is zoom out from a CGI Earth, other planets zoom out and stars are starting to flash. The Earth spins turning to the Chunsoft logo. The background changes to gray with lines.

Technique: None. The animated variant shows the Earth zooming out and the background changing.

Audio: None. The animated version uses a deep note with zapping noises.

Availability: Seen on most games by the company starting with Machi.
