Background
Children's Video Library was the kids' video division of Vestron Video.

Visuals: On a black background, a 2D drawing of colored balloons swirls into place. When the picture stops swirling, the text "Children’s Video Library" forms into place and shifts to the right. The words are colored yellow, but one-by-one, the words then turn red.
Technique: Standard 80s computer effects.
Audio: A cheery Irish-sounding tune (a rendition of the nursery rhyme "Girls and Boys Come Out to Play") played on a flute, percussion, bells (which start in sync with the words changing color) and a bass guitar, which is actually "Playground" by Neil Richardson.
Audio Variant:
- On some videos with a promo at the end, after the text forms a female announcer says "Children's Video Library: Quality children's family entertainment at an affordable price."
- On UK VHS releases with a promo involved, after the text forms a male announcer says the following "Bring home all your favourite characters on Children's Video Library - part of the Vestron Video Network."
Availability:
- Can be seen on CVL releases of the 1980s, such as Little Women, Babar Goes to America, and several Challenge of the Gobots releases.
- It is also intact (including its warning screen) on Hulu's print of The World of Strawberry Shortcake, and is also said to be intact on an EastWest Entertainment bootleg DVD of Tubby the Tuba (1975) which was originally released on VHS by this company and retained on a Hulu print of Thanksgiving in the Land of Oz, which is then followed by the 2007 CBS Television Distribution logo.
- It also appears on the 1993 Family Home Entertainment VHS release of Banjo the Woodpile Cat, with the FHE logo of the era preceding it.
- It also appears on the 1985 UK VHS release of Rainbow Brite: The Mighty Monstromurk Menace and the 1986 UK VHS releases of Rainbow Brite: It's Your Birthday Party, The Magic of SuperTed: Mach 1, The Adventures of SuperTed, Tubby the Tuba (1975), Benji (1974), My Little Pony: In Dreamland/Escape from Catrina, The Care Bears Video Show and Muppet Babies: Gonzos Video Show/Noisy Neighbour, and the 1987 UK VHS releases of The Little Prince: For the Love of Animals and She-Ra: Princess of Power: King Miro's Journey, respectively, among others.
