Background
BNNVARA is a broadcasting association and network within the Netherlands Public Broadcasting. It was founded on 1 January 2014 through a merger of the BNN and VARA associations. These continued to exist without broadcasting directly until 2017.

Visuals: On a red background, a white rectangle stretches in, in which all switches into opposite colors. A black rectangle stretches in, bringing up the red rectangle, with another red rectangle stretching in. The black rectangle then slides and shortens, bringing the middle red rectangle slightly further away to the right, with another red rectangle stretching in. The middle red rectangle then slides back to it's position as we pan to the right to reveal the sliding word "BNNVARA" next to it. All of it is shown in a tilted angle.
Variants:
- For programs on NPO 2, it starts with three white bars on a red background, then they jump into black. The bars slide at the left while the background changes to white as the bars form the broadcaster's logo.
- For programs on NPO 3, it starts with three white bars on a red background, then they shake and bounce on a black background. When the white background appear, the bars turn red before the broadcaster's name hits them.
Technique: Computer animation by Dog and Pony.
Audio: A whoosh that ends with a 3-note riff, composed by Method.Audio.
Audio Variants:
- For programs on NPO 2, a basic string version of a 3-note riff is used.
- For programs on NPO 3, a dubstep version of a 3-note riff is used.

Visuals:
- Opening: On a black background, there is the complete logo with the word in white, with "WIJ ZIJN VOOR" next to it. The logo slides away, and the aforementioned slides onto the middle whilst the background wipes to red, changing the color into black. Below, three words appear in white with one replacing the aforementioned: "VRIJHEID" and "VOORUITGANG". The last word may vary, depending on each corresponding ident. It may either read: "VERANDERING", "EEN SCHERPE BLIK", "EEN GOED GESPREK", "HET LEVEN VIEREN", "SAMENLEVEN", "LIEFDE", "NATUUR", "SLIMMER WORDEN", "RECHTVAARDIGHEID" and "TEGELS LICHTEN". All of it is shown in a tilted angle.
- Closing: There is the last segment of the opening, in which then starts changing words. After that, the background starts changing to black partially, in which brings up the logo sliding in, with the rectangles turning black after the background turns back to red. Then, "WIJ ZIJN VOOR" appear one by one.
Variant: On NPO 2 reruns of Oppassen!!!, the logo is squished.
