Background: Arkansas Educational Television Network is a state network of PBS with stations serving the state of Arkansas. It launched on December 4, 1966 and is headquartered in Conway.

1st Logo (1979)

Logo: On a blue background, the "Arkansas Educational Television Commission" logo is seen. Four ovals (2 orange 2 yellow) can be seen on the left, each having either the letter A, E, T, or C in a black ABC-like font on top. On the right are the words "arkansas educational television commission" in all lowercase letters.

FX/SFX: Fade-In and Fade-Out

Music/Sounds: A short rhode organ tune.

Availability: Seen on "Money Magic".

2nd Logo (1983-1987) Arkansas Educational TV Network logo (1983)

Logo: On a black background, a goldenflash is seen. It forms a ring. It rotates to the front, then it flashes again to form the words "AETN". Orange sparkles are seen below the words, which form from top to bottom "Presentation", a copyright year stamp, "Arkansas Educational Television Network", and "All Rights Reserved".The ring then glowsblue. It stays on while shining for 5 seconds.

FX/SFX: The golden flash, the ring rotating, the forming flash, the sparkles, the blue glow, and the shining of the ring and words.

Music/Sounds: The last few seconds of “Byte by Byte”, the original theme for The Computer Chronicles.

Availability: Seen on Nowhere to Go But Up, which can be viewed on the American Archive of Public Broadcasting.
