Background

Productos Naturales de la Sabana S.A.S., doing business as Alquería, is a Colombian company that produces dairy products and beverages. Founded in 1959, it currently has 7 processing plants and 21 distribution centers throughout the country, making it one of the private companies with the highest purchase of milk and dairy products in Colombia. Alquería is a Spanish term that means "country house", it symbolizes the fresh products that originate from it.



1st Logo (2006-2018)

Logo: A splash of milk is shown moving at the left of a red background, before keeping still. The text "Alquerıa" without the accent then blurs in at the right as then the accent grows out of it.

Variants:

  • The logo was stretched in earlier widescreen commercials.
  • Starting in 2013, the milk was reanimated.

Trivia: An extended animation was shown in an earlier commercial showcasing their new identity, as demonstrated here.

Technique: 3D animation of the milk, and 2D animation of the text.

Music/Sounds: A 5-note synthesized theme, with a kid saying "Mmm, Alquería!".

Music/Sounds Variants:

  • The theme is arranged slower or faster depending on the commercial.
  • On their 2006 "animated cookies" commercial, the theme is performed by a woodwind band.

Availability: Seen on many Alquería commercials since 2006.

2nd Logo (2018-)

Logo: The splash of milk emerges over a red background, moving into a similar design from before, without extending to the corner. The redesigned "Alquerıa" text blurs in at the right, as a dot appears from the last "a" and bounces to the "ı", forming the accent, this time in a rounded fashion.

Technique: Renewed animation with nearly the same concept as before.

Music/Sounds: Same as before.

Availability: Current; seen on many Alquería commercials since 2018.
