List of Hypocritical Logos
3-G Home Video (3rd logo) (as many of their tapes are supposed to be for children, this is pretty unsuitable to a very young audience as for its dark design and swoosh) Aligator Video Enterprises (Greece) (no alligator) Angel Video (India) (no angel) Arcade Pictures (Netherlands) (no arcade) Arrow Films (no arrow and on the only film they released (Deep Throat II, a porno) the start of the film was superimposed on a starred space background) Balakrishna Movies (India) (no Bala Krishna) Best Films (India) (blatant use of the 20th Century Fox logo concept, therefore not that good of a logo) Best Film & Video Corp.(3rd logo) (cheap effects, therefore not that good of that logo) Blue Sky Studios (all logos) (no skies) Camp Video (no campsites) Capitol Films (UK) (2nd logo) (no capitol) Castle Home Video (UK) (all logos) (no castle) China Horse Films Production Company (Hong Kong) (Pegasus is shown instead of a horse) Class Video (Argentina) (logo suffers from cheap effects and is way too long, therefore not really a classy logo) Colombus (France)(use of American symbols in French logo) Confetti Tivi (Austria) (No confetti) Crown Movie Classics (no crown) Deluxe Digital Studios (4th logo) (no "Digital Studios" indicator) Drug Store Television Productions (no drug store) Epic Productions (1st logo) (too simple to be epic) Euro Films (Pakistan) (use of the word "euro" when the country of the logo's origin is Pakistan, an Asian country) Family Home Entertainment (1st logo) (this is not for little kids to watch with its rather overall eerie animation and music in the logo) Fatal Visions (Australia) (its slogan is "the cult movie label", but it was only spotted on one movie) Gaumont Columbia TriStar Films (France) (no TriStar Pegasus) Gold Medal Production Line (Cambodia) (use of a trophy instead of a medal) Golden Books Video (2nd logo) (not too kid-friendly whatsoever and is rather overall creepy and unsettling to children) Golden Dragon Cambodian Video (no dragon, or even gold) Golden Moon Creations (India) (no moon nor no gold color since the only film released by the company was filmed in B&W.) (Greece) (some aspects of this logo might scare a few kids, also the logo says "NEXT!" despite the company's real name being Nextworks S.A.) Oppose
- Oppose Um excuse me what even is this? First of all, some of these are centered around biased opinions like SuperVideo and Video Best being hypocritical due to the logo's animation being, supposedly, straight-up nuclear level of cheese. But second, and more importantly, this isn't necessary for an RFC. It's just a list. I'm probably complaining about this due to reason #3: I don't even know what this is for. Is this for a category? And if so, this isn't what I would call an issue for the wiki or something actually important for the wiki. While the list is long, I also spotted companies being on the list only due to one logo either not having the element for the name, or the logo just sucks. So overall, not necessary and is as long as the One Piece. I oppose this for now. 𝓘𝓝ℱ𝓔ℛ𝓝𝓞 𝓞ℱ 𝑇.𝓥.ℬ. (talk) 18:33, 19 November 2023 (UTC)
- I'm not surprised that you said this proposal "isn't necessary for an RfC," since it is just a list and there's no real reason behind why it's necessary (pretty redudant [sic]). --AUnnamedDragon 2:13 PM, November 19, 2023 (CET)
- Oppose per TVB. we removed editor's note and cheesy factor because they were too opinionated. Cattotld (talk (not really)) 18:38, 19 November 2023 (UTC)

- Oppose I think the CLG Wiki already got rid of that. No thanks. Gilby1385 (talk) 20:13, 19 November 2023 (UTC)
Comments
- Comment: I don't think this needs a RfC. Also, exactly what is the reason? --AUnnamedDragon 1:30 PM, November 19, 2023 (CET)
- Comment: I'd be glad to talk about some of these in a forum thread. You should move it there instead (• USER TALK! •) 20:24, 19 November 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: ok so firstly this is not an rfc obviously, secondly 3G HOME VIDEO IS NOT A KID'S COMPANY that's a very common myth that i hate. they release all kinds of stuff, not just kids stuff. thirdly i don't really think that the term Euro is exclusive to Eurpoe related stuff (it might be but idk) fourthly, i don't think that the gps was invented when the gps international logo came out, i don't think the word Helion is neccesarily related to Helium, Legal Video is not really a kid's company. they did set up a kid's division so that might be where the confusion comes from, Mushroom Pictures does have a mushroom cloud in itso idk why it's in here, in the case of nextworks i don't know why a logo being scary (To You) or not saying the company name, or in the case of paramount video, not having a home video indicator makes it hypocritical, if you acknowlege that NCGW is hypocritical on purpose then why is it in here? the title Silent H is about The Letter H being silent, not the logo itself, idk how tele monte carlos having the globo logo makes it hypocritical, and they were owned by globo at the time so it's not really stolen either, similarly to NCGW, Team Panda is also like that on purpose so i don't know why that's not mentioned unlike ncgw (is it because ncgw is a funny logo and since this is a scary logo it not being on purpose would make it scarier?) i don't really underxtand the santa vid logo being hypocritical (the otdyhay thing i do somewhat understand) also this is about the page as a whole but not only are some logos only here for being cheesy, sometimes with no correlation to the title, or not having an ellement that is really not nessecary, but do logos being hypocritical only for one logo really deserve to be in here, if they corrected it in the next (or sometimes even previous) logo? (also for some reason in the source editor the listings are all separated but in the actual page itself they're all just one block of text and idk why that happens) Diberhaze (talk) 22:15, 19 November 2023 (UTC)
