A page on identifying common symbols, icons, instruments, etc.
Identifying certain aspects of a logo can be an issue for many editors. Although we do have a page dedicated to defining and distinguishing various animation techniques, that seems to be aiding just one portion on what editors have difficulty identifying. There is actually a lot more we have difficulties identifying, especially different instruments used to compose the logo's soundtrack, what type of musical techniques are heard (e.g. glissando), and not to mention symbols and icons all over the world. Because of that, it has lead to undescriptive terms such as "Indian-sounding music" and "Hindu god" to slip in that clearly shows the editor's lack of knowledge of the subject matter. The technique page is a great start to helping editors with understanding logos better, and I am hoping these type of pages, using the same structure as the technique tutorial page, will aid our assistance in better describing what the logo consists of and make it easier to research those aspects without having to exhaustively search for its name/meaning. - Support Full support for this. Definitely needed for non-masterful editors like me that don't know what one specific object is used. | (lets play football) 20:55, 29 December 2023 (UTC)
