Background

Zoro Light Production is a Moroccan film production company based in Tétouan.

Logo (November 16, 2016-March 27, 2019)

Visuals: On a black background, a burning match falls to the ground in slow motion. While making contact with the surface, flames gradually build up before bursting across the floor. The camera angle changes at this point, displaying the company name with "ZORO" in bold and each word next to a sketch of a dog's head. The logo zooms out while the flames continue to burn the floor. The shot changes through a zoom-in effect where it then shows a closer shot of the logo, this time turning towards the camera. A few seconds later, the logo sinks to the floor and the screen deblurs.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: There is a deep bass sound at the beginning before a loud bang suddenly starts. A horror sting plays afterwards, and two drumbeats play when the shot changes. One last drum pound closes off the logo.

Availability: Only seen on Les papiers d'amour and Cambodia.
