Xbox Game Studios/Logo Variations

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

These are the logo variations seen throughout the years by Xbox Game Studios (formerly Microsoft Studios, Microsoft Game Studios or Microsoft Games), with more to be added overtime.

Microsoft Games

Halo: Combat Evolved (2001): The background is white. After a few seconds, it cuts to the Bungie logo.

Microsoft Game Studios

Halo 2 (2004): The background is the same as the Bungie logo.

Kinect Adventures (2010): The logo looks like embroidery on white fabric and is sown on, then off after a few seconds. The opening theme of the game plays here.

Microsoft Studios

Gears of War: Judgment (2013): The logo is on a wall. It cracks, and the screen zooms out of it.

Sunset Overdrive (2014): The logo, in white, is wiped in with a paint-like effect.

Ori and the Blind Forest (2015): The logo is shiny blue on a background with blurred blue circles, and it fades out into the Moon Studios logo, which animates on the same background.

Gears of War 4 (2016): The logo appears with some wind.

Sea of Thieves (2018): The logo is in a gold-green color, and is still.

XBOX Game Studios

Gears 5 (2019): The logo is tilted upwards, and is in ice about to crack.

Psychonauts 2 (2021): The logo is on a green box. Also, it is crudely drawn. The camera zooms out to reveal it is in a matchbox, continuing to the Double Fine logo.

Halo Infinite (2021): A light is seen moving to the top of the screen. The company name and Xbox logo appear forming. A red light appears behind, leading to the 343 Industries logo.
