These are the logo variations seen on trailer throughout the years by Village Roadshow Pictures, with more to be added overtime.

The Matrix (1999):

  • The logo is in baby blue with the company name in a different font, spaced out away against a green cloudy background.

Red Planet (2000):
  • The logo is tinted in kelly green and also starts to deform. Seen on the trailer.

Space Cowboys (2001):
  • The logo is superimposed on a morning cloud background.

Don't Say A Word (2001):
  • The logo is surrounded by flickering numbers just like the Regency logo. Seen on the TV spot only.

Training Day (2001):
  • The logo is superimposed onto a sunrise background. Only on the trailer.

Queen of the Damned (2002):
  • On the trailer, the logo is light blue and put on a different background that features a castle and waters surrounding it as lightning strikes.
  • On Another trailer, the logo is dark black on the Red-Yellow Fire Sky and Black clouds.



Two Weeks Notice (2002):
  • The logo is on a red spotlight background.

The Adventures of Pluto Nash (2002):
  • The logo is white and flies on a space background. Only on the trailer.

Mystic River (2003):
  • The logo is tinted in blue and surrounded by what appears to be fog.

The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions (2003):
  • The logo is green and set on a Matrix scrolling background.

Dreamcatcher (2003):
  • The logo is in metallic 3D and is snowing.

Catwoman (2004):
  • The logo is metallic blue and put on a cloudy background. Only on the trailer.

On another trailer, the logo is in 3D and put on a black background.


Ocean's Twelve (2004):
  • On the trailer, the logo put upon a black background and is in a red/white color scheme.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005):
  • On the trailer, the logo is orange and put on a chocolate swirl background.

Happy Feet (2006):
  • The logo is tinted in jungle green and is snowing. Only on the trailer.

Firewall (2006):
  • The logo is aquamarine-blue and put on a different background, just like the Warner Bros. logo. Only seen on the trailer.

Unaccompanied Minors (2006):
  • The standard logo has the V with snow on its top as it snows.

Ocean's Thirteen (2007):
  • On the trailer, the V appears rotated on a red background.

I Am Legend (2007):
  • The logo is shaped different along with the Warner Bros, and put on a black background. Only seen on the trailer.

The Reaping (2007):
  • On the international trailer, the logo appears in a puddle of blood and is slightly distorted.

Speed Racer (2008):
  • The logo is white and on a racetrack-like background.

Where the Wild Things Are (2009):
  • The logo is a crude drawing and a shadow of a feather is in the V.

On another trailer, the logo shares the screen with the Warner Bros. and Legendary logos.


Sherlock Holmes (2009):
  • On the trailer, the logo is put upon a stone.

Sex and the City 2 (2010):
  • The logo has a fashion style, like the New Line Cinema and HBO logos designed in the same way. Seen on the trailer.

Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore (2010):
  • On the second trailer and the TV spots, it is the same as in the movie, but it also includes the Warner Bros. logo.

Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole (2010):
  • The logo is metallic and is on a daytime sky background. Only on the trailer.

Happy Feet Two (2011):
  • On trailers and TV spots, it is snowing near the logo and it's in 3D.

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011):
  • On the teaser trailer, the variant seen on the teaser trailer from the first film is reused.
  • The logo is separated onto 4 metal squares against a starry background with grey clouds.

Dark Shadows (2012):
  • On TV spots, the logo is gray on a blue cloudy background with the Warner Bros. logo.

The Great Gatsby (2013):
  • The logo is silver on gold lined art-deco doors.

The Lego Movie (2014):
  • The logo is in stone and is on a dark blue background with a blue light on the far left and dust particles in the air. Also, just as it backs away, the blue light shifts to the right and the words “IN 2014” zoom out, which cuts to the trailer. Seen on the teaser.

On another trailer, the logo shares the screen with the Warner Bros. logo and is accompanied by the song “Feel this Moment” by Pitbull feat. Christina Aguilera.

On the rest of the trailers, it’s the same as the film itself, but the camera doesn’t pan into the background. On TV spots, the variant from the film is used, sometimes in a box along with the Warner Bros. variant from said film or in its own screen.


Winter's Tale (2014):
  • The logo is gold, slightly rusted, and is on a black background.
  • On one trailer, this logo is seen alongside the Warner Bros. Pictures variant and superimposed on the film.

In The Heart of the Sea (2015):
  • The logo is underwater and in a verdigris color. Only on the trailer.

Jupiter Ascending (2015):
  • The logo is in dark blue and has a bright lens flare behind.

The Legend of Tarzan (2016):
  • The logo is made out of pink stone on a black background. Only seen on the trailer.

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017):
  • The logo is in metallic silver on a black background.

Ready Player One (2018):
  • The logo is in 3D and dark blue and surrounded by blue lens flares.

Ocean's 8 (2018):
  • The logo is red and on a white background.

The Matrix Resurrections (2021):
  • Same as the movie itself, but it flickers.

Wonka (2023):
  • The logo is golden on a chocolate-colored background.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024)
  • The Mad Max: Fury Road variant of the 2012 logo is used.


  • But on the second trailer, the logo is not present.
