Background

Vigil Games was formed in 2005 as a division of THQ and dissolved in 2013 when THQ failed to find them a buyer following their bankruptcy.

(2005-2012)

Nickname: "The Lantern Man"

Logo: Against a light background, the word "VIGIL", made of chipped letters, rolls from the right. Then the camera focuses on the background to reveal that it's a lantern. We zoom out to see a cloaked man holding this lantern, standing on a breakaway. Lightning can be seen in the sky, and one triggers an outline with the words "VIGIL GAMES" below the logo, which shines once.

FX/SFX: Very good animation.

Music/Sounds: The thunder.

Availability: Can be seen on Vigil's only two games, Darksiders and Darksiders II.

Editor's Note: None.
