Logo (1989-1997)

Visuals: On a dark purple background, 2 pairs of 15 lines, all in neon hot pink, swirl around the center of the screen with chyron trails before they interlock with each other. After a second, a flash occurs, bringing forth the text "VCI" from the lines as they fly off-screen. The white text "VIDEO COMMUNICATIONS, INC." then fade in below.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: Synth chimes over a loud whoosh, then a sustained bass note when the logo flashes, followed by some more chimes. On some releases, it's silent.

Availability: It has plastered over tapes previously released under the United Home Video name in their original UHV packaging, and vice versa. This has also been the case with Artisan Home Entertainment and Columbia-Tristar Home Video.
