My Likes:

  • All things Marvel!
  • Doctor Who (I like classic and modern Who equally, Though I must say that the final 2 seasons of classic Who are highly underrated)
  • Superhero Movies in general (yes, Marvel or DC, but I do prefer Marvel.)
  • the 80s! the Music... the movies... the Games... all of it!
  • Back To The Future! (1 was best, followed by 2, 3 was OK, but doesn't quite stack up to its predecessors.)
  • Animals.
  • Star Trek (My favorite movies are II, VI and First Contact. My favorite series are TNG and DS9 equally, Voyager's a close second)

My Dislikes:

  • Mid-late 90s Batman Movies, How they got Schwarzenegger to be in that extended toy commercial, I will never know.
  • The 2015 Fantastic 4 movie, they got their powers from their OWN STUPIDITY! Fantastic indeed! and the Final battle- five minutes? is that all you could do after all that build up?! Sorry, I could rant for ages on that disaster of a movie...
  • Tilt-and-scan and stretching old stuff into widescreen. My pet peeve when it comes to remastered TV shows. What's wrong with watching TV in 4:3? Surely people could cope with some black bars on the edge of their screen for half an hour? Besides, people coped with 4:3 for decades before widescreen TV was created.
  • the SPT and CBSTD logos! The banes of a logo hunter's existence.
  • Only a slight one, but, The 1993 Columbia Pictures logo. It's looking stale and in dire need of updating! all the other major hollywood studios have updated their logos at least once since 1993, not just an "enhancement"
  • SLOW INTERNET!!!

I could continue this list for ages, but I won't. Because I don't want to bore you with names of bands and singers from the 70s and 80s.

My logo history

1st Logo/Profile Pic (November 2015- June/July 2016?)

Used on the original wiki from when I joined on November 23 2015, appeared earlier in Company Bumpers as I joined slightly earlier there. Used on Company Bumpers for several months after being replaced by the 2nd profile pic on the main wiki..

2nd Logo/Profile Pic (Mid 2016-November 8, 2018) Used regularly across the wiki from mid 2016 to late 2018, also used on the Hb1290 Logos channel from its launch in August 2016.

Early Variant (Mid 2016): the original version of this profile pic did not have the "HB1290" text.

Second Variant (Mid 2016-August 24, 2017):

The word "HB1290" is added in Orator STD font, as seen above. This was used regularly on the CLG wiki and YouTube from mid-2016 to August 2017, this version most likely appears as part of of the montage in the unreleased project Spotlight on the CLG Wiki, due to this variant still being used at the time of its production. This variant is also still in use on the old Company Bumpers site.

3rd Variant (Prototype)(August 24, 2017)

This Prototype variant only went live for a few minutes on August 24th 2017 before being replaced by a refined version, it uses a sleeker, new font called Trench

3rd Variant (Final) (August 24, 2017-November 5, 2018)

In this refined version, the new text was made bold to be more readable at small sizes, it was also spaced further from the edges. this and the prototype above also use a higher quality version of the Iron Man image than the previous version. This version went live on the CLG Wiki on August 24, 2017 and on the HB1290 logos channel the following day.

3rd Profile Pic (November 5, 2018-)

This new profile image drops the Iron Man imagery that had been used since the very first profile pic in favour of a style more in line with that of the HB1290 Logos channel. From January 2019, the text becomes 3D and metallic.
