Ural Beavers

Logo (July 12, 1992)

Visuals: On a zooming space background, a warm-colored star flashes on the top left, followed by a rotating, realistic film camera facing towards the screen. The device, excluding the camera lens, disappear, leaving the lens to zoom in and stop. After a large star flashes in the lens, it zooms away and a white sunburst expands, revealing two beavers. The lens flip upwards, becomes a lekythos-shaped vase, and zooms towards the rodents to grab its handles. While a long, tri-colored ribbon in white, blue, and red falls down, three copies of "Уральские" and "бобры" in blue, red, and yellow outlines merge together while sliding towards the bottom center. The words become golden after stopping and the sunburst, now with a warm hue, expands further, tinting the logo in gold. After a light sparks above the vase for a few seconds, the logo zooms out towards the top center, crossfading into a less detailed version of the logo. The bottom half of the background now has several blue fading streaks and "ПРЕДСТАВЛЯЮТ" in a 3D effect zooming out from the center.

Technique: Stop-motion and cel animation.

Audio: A soft, synthesized horn and drums fanfare.
