Background

United Thai Navy Film Production (also known as S. Navy Films) was a film production arm of the Thailand's Royal Thai Navy, founded in the 1950's. Its first film, The Garuda Nails (Leb Garuda), was released in 1957, winning two Golden Doll Awards on its first academy. It was closed sometime in the late 1980's.



1st Logo (January 19, 1966-1968?)

Visuals: On a blue shining background, there is an emblem with an anchor on the middle and a banner saying the Thai name of the company.

Technique: A still printed image.

Audio: A short dramatic trumpet fanfare with a cymbal crash and a bell at the end.

Availability: Seen on the film The Battle of Bang Rajan. It was also appeared on the original prints of the 1968 film The Return of Dr. Chang.

2nd Logo (February 4, 1981)

Visuals: On a blue background, there is an emblem with an anchor on the middle and a banner saying the Thai name of the company. On the bottom of it is the English name of the company.

Technique: A still printed image.

Audio: The Sony Demonstration fanfare.

Availability: Only seen on The Skies and the Dome.

3rd Logo (1985-1986?)

Visuals: On a space background, Unknown.

Technique: Unknown

Audio: The same theme as Bangkok Film from 1976 to 1979.

Availability: Unknown.
