Description

United Front Games, Inc. was a Canadian video game company based in Vancouver, British Columbia. It was founded in 2007 and closed its doors at October 17, 2016.

1st Logo (November 6, 2012)

Visuals: There is a big black sheet of paper, with 7 orange rays, another yellow one, and a white stripe on the left, with 3 silhouettes of people facing the right and doing a salute on the bottom. On the right is a pair of green scissors, some scrambled white letters (which says UNITED FRONT), and a small red rectangle with "GAMES" inside it in white. A sheet of paper is seen on the bottom of the screen. Suddenly, three hands assemble the logo, starting with the sheet of paper, which eventually has its center cut to form a border. The hands then put a yellow rectangle inside the border, arrange 4 of the orange rays inside the rectangle, put the silhouettes on the bottom of the rectangle, and arrange the scrambled text, starting from "UNITED" on the top of the rectangle to "FRONT" on the bottom, along with the "GAMES" rectangle. The hands then appear one last time to clear up all of what is left off around the logo. The logo stays for a few seconds, before the entire thing fades out.

Technique: Stop-motion.

Audio: What sounds like paper sounds play throughout most of the logo, which then stops at some point and comes back again briefly, and a baby laughing at the end.

Availability: Only seen on the PlayStation 3 video game LittleBigPlanet Karting.

Legacy: This is somehow charming, and may be considered a favorite among LittleBigPlanet fans for those who grew up playing LittleBigPlanet Karting.

2nd Logo (October 10, 2014)

Visuals: On a black background is the same logo from above (except the border around the orange rectangle is golden this time) quickly being drawn, and stays there for a few seconds, before being drawn out in a backwards manner.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: An eerie piece, with foreboding.

Availability: Seen on the Xbox One version of Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition.
