Background

Topical Television is a British television production company formed in 1992.



1st Logo (1992-1997)

Visuals: On a white background, a stylized gray tube with a portion of its right side consisting of two dots overlaps with the cursive text "topical" with a shadow effect. Underneath it is the following text:

The overline and underline is colored red.

Technique: A still, computerized graphic.

Audio: The ending theme of the programme.

Availability: It was seen on Houseparty and Ridgeriders.

2nd Logo (1998-Early 2010's)

Visuals: A shiny version of the previous logo is shown. The cursive "topical" is also seen zooming in and the tube's reflection is spinning. The text shines and causes the logo to freeze.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: The ending theme of the programme.

Availability: Can be seen on City Hospital and Behind Bars Live.

3rd Logo (Early 2010's-)

Visuals: The tube and cursive "topical" are removed, the text is brighter, and the logo has a shadow effect. The only animation in this logo is it zooming in.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: The ending theme of the programme.

Availability: Seen on On Stage: A Tale of Two Theatres, Close Calls On Camera, The £1 Houses Britains Cheapest Street, among others.
