Background

Tobali Indah Film is an Indonesian film production company based in Jakarta and Riau, founded in 1979. It produced much more of Indonesian drama and art films released over the years. The company was defunct in 1994.

1st Logo (1976-1979)

Visuals: On a red (or black) background, the text "P.T. TOBALI INDAH FILM" in white (or orange) zooms in to a full size.

Technique: Cel animation.

Audio: "Fanfares #3" by Mark Winter.

Availability: Seen on their early films, such as Ingin Cepat Kaya and Penangkal Ilmu Teluh.

2nd Logo (early/mid 1980s-1989)

Visuals: On a blue background, an emblem fades in to the left, consisting of a candi bentar (a split gate common in Javanese and Balinese architecture) and below is a ribbon with arched text "P.T. TOBALI INDAH FILM" on it. The company name in a serif font and the text "Mempersembahkan" in Brush Script MT font then fade in.

Technique: 2D cel animation.

Audio: Silent.

Availability: It was seen on some Indonesian movies produced by the studio.
