Background

Established in 2009 by industry veteran Ralph Kamp (former CEO of Icon and Odyssey Entertainment) with his two children Rebecca and Gareth, Timeless Films is an independent production company specialising in the development, financing, production and distribution of animated and family films.

1st Logo (October 7, 2010-2022)

Visuals: The camera cuts from black to the inside of a clock made out of silver pointers, brown cogs, and a bright yellow texture around it. The camera starts at one of the cogs, then pans around it turning upward, revealing the texture and the other parts coming down to form the clock. As the camera zooms toward a comfortable position, an outlined border with the words "TIMELESS FILMS" on the top and bottom, respectively, is revealed. The camera spins and sits at a position away from the circle, as the parts all finish positioning themselves, forming the clock.

Trivia: An animation error can be seen near the conclusion of the logo, where one of the bottom-left cogs clips through one of the silver parts of the clock.

Variant: A short version of the logo, starting when the camera reveals the text, is used in most films, along with an abridged version of the music.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A calm theme with bells, choirs and other instruments.

Availability: First appeared on Animals United, and it can be seen on other films from the company, such as Monster Family.

2nd Logo (August 2022-)

Visuals: The camera quickly zooms through a much more detailed and realistic version of the clock fom the previous logo, albeit with a different design. After it reaches the center, the camera zooms out from the clock and reveals the company name, this time in the center of the screen, with each of the pieces that comprise "TIMELESS" zooming out separately. Two lines with the word "FILMS" spliced inbetween them is seen below.

Technique: CGI done by Creative Advertising London.

Audio: So far, the opening theme of the movie.

Availability: It first appeared on the Timeless Films website in August 2022, and later debuted on the Netflix film Scrooge: A Christmas Carol on November 18.
