From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

Logo (March 1969-1972)

Visuals: On a red background, a crude drawing of a tigon with its jaw wide-open zooms in. Then, "A TIGON PICTURES RELEASE" wipes in one by one, with "A" and "RELEASE" above and below "TIGON PICTURES".

Variants:

  • A version with a blue background and different font exists.
  • At the end of Black Beauty (1971), the tigon is inside a white box on a black background. The text is also underneath the box and "Released by" appears atop the box.

Technique: Camera controlled animation.

Audio: A patriotic horn sounder. Sometimes, it's silent.

Availability: Found on The Body Stealers and the Blu-Ray release of The Magnificent Seven Deadly Sins. The blue background variant can be seen on their later movies, such as Au Pair Girls.
