Background: Collective Studios was a California-based development studio founded in 1997 by industry veterans. In March 2005 the company entered a venture with Backbone Entertainment, which led to the creation of Foundation 9. Finally in 2007, The Collective and Shiny were both merged into single entity Double Helix Games.

Note: Not to be confused with the company Studio 71 was formerly named as.


1st LogoThe Collective - CLG Wiki (1998)

Logo: TBA

FX/SFX: TBA

Music/Sounds: TBA.

Availability: Was seen on The Game of Life for PSX.

2nd LogoThe Collective - CLG Wiki (2000-2003)

Logo: The Collective logo, in red and steel, slowly rotates to the screen.

FX/SFX: The logo rotates.

Variant: On Star Trek, the still logo was used and the name said "Collective Studios". The background was cosmic, but on demo version, it was black.

Music/Sounds: A dull windy sound..

Availability: Can be found on Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb. Still version appeared on Star Trek Deep Space Nine - The Fallen.

3th LogoThe Collective - CLG Wiki (2004)

Logo: We move across the stone peak with evening skies in background. Two shadows move on the peak, depicting the creatures in combat with each other. As they fight, we move up and see the Collective logo, same color as the dusty stone. Then the dust is wiped off and background becomes gray concrete, while the logo remains red and steel. Then it shines.

FX/SFX: Shadows moving, dust coming off.

Music/Sounds: Sound of raging creatures, then the dust falling off.

Availability: Can be found on Wrath Unleashed.

The Collective - CLG Wiki 4th Logo (2005)

Logo: The logo is carved in a stone while the lava pours and fills it. Then it flashes and becomes still, taken into a box.

FX/SFX: The lava pours.

Music/Sounds: The chanting ambient.

Availability: Appeared on Star Wars Episode III - Revenge of the Sith.

5th Logo (2006)The Collective - CLG Wiki

Logo: We see a sped-up action of a black man drawing the logo on the wall. While every space is covered in paint, the logo pattern remains white. Then the action blurs out and becomes red with white drops of paint. Then it segues to the F9E logo, which itself quickly fades.

FX/SFX: Probably based on live action.

Music/Sounds: A kind of ethnic tune with paint gas hissing out.

Availability: Appeared on Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure.

6th LogoThe Collective - CLG Wiki (2006)

Logo: A red tile flies in, viewed in perspective, and flashes, as the wiping line proceeds through its surface and the myriad of red particles zoom into the tile in a flood of light, creating the white Collective logo. The tile moves during the action, and turns full view, shining a bit. The Foundation 9 byline fades in below.

FX/SFX: The rectangle moving and particles flying over it.

Music/Sounds: A choir whoosh.

Availability: Can be found on Da Vinci Code.
