Background

Tandem Productions Film & Vidéo was a independent production company, created in 1997 by Habitaction 's creator, co-host and producer, Danielle Dubuc. Valérie Bissonnette helped her from the show's beginning until 2000 as Danielle Dubuc took full control of the company. The company disestablished in 2002, and Habitaction 's rights are now owned by Vélocité International.

Note: This company is not to be confused with the American television production company Tandem Productions, Inc. formed by Bud Yorkin and Norman Lear, which is owned by Sony Pictures Television.

Logo (1997-2002)

Visuals: On a gray, cloudy background, there are two tandem bikes rolling around a filmstrip without any film inside. Then, after 10 seconds, the tandem bikes zoom up as the filmstrip settles to roll around. Afterwards, the background changes to a grey-black background and the holes in the filmstrip turn green. The words "TANDEM" and "PRODUCTIONS - FILM - VIDÉO" appear like this:

TANDEM

PRODUCTIONS - FILM - VIDÉO

with TANDEM in a Vacarious-font and with the letter TAN in green and the letter DEM in black. A copyright stamp shows underneath on the bottom of the screen at the right corner.

Variant: On season 3 of Habitaction, the tandem bikes are removed and only the green holes animation in seen.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The ending theme of the show with film sound effects as the tandem bikes roll around and a storm sound as the logo completes.

Availability: Seen on every episode rerun of Habitaction on some networks.
