1st Logo (July 27, 1986-1994)

Visuals: On a white button, three unlit lights appear with each of them lighting up a different color: red, gold, and blue. Simultaneously, the letters "TSL" appear in sync with the lights turning on. After they all appear, a scribble corresponding with the light color underneath draws over most of the letter, followed by the lights disappearing and in-credit text appearing underneath, including a channel's name and the copyright notice.

Variants:

A still version exists.
Sometimes, it is set to a black background.
An early version has the scribbles appear behind the text and less vibrant.
On Golf - PGA Tour 90 - RMCC Invitational Day 2 highlights, two in-credit notices appear on the bottom. The first of which reads "Produced in association with CPMA". It fades out to make room for "A TSL Production for LWT" and the copyright notice.
On the 1989 Tour de France live coverage, the logo is against a green wireframe sketch of France, Belgium, and Luxembourg combined.
On the 1993 Tour de France live coverage, the meaning of the company's acronym is displayed underneath, reading "TELEVISION SPORT & LEISURE".

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: The ending theme of the programme.

Availability: It was seen on Channel 4's live coverage of various sporting events such as the Tour de France as well as sports programmes from this period. The animated variant was more prevalant in the 1990's and appeared on the Tour de France broadcast covered by Channel 4 until 1994, when VTV Productions took over productions of the broadcast. This logo can be found on a 1990 Channel 4 Video release of the 1990 Subbuteo World Cup.

2nd Logo (1987-1988)

Visuals: Superimposed into the end credits are the letters from before but in a normal font.

Technique: A still, computerized graphic.

Audio: The ending theme of the programme.

Availability: Only appear on Channel 4's live coverage of the Serpetine Regatta during the late 1980's.
