Background
Star Distribution is the Latin American distribution sub-arm of Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures founded in 1961 as the Latin American and Brazilian branch of Buena Vista International.
On February 11, 2022, Disney Latin America announced that the Buena Vista brand was completely retired in Latin America (except in Brazil, where the brand wasn't adopted until November of that year), following this, the Latin America division of Buena Vista International was renamed to Star Distribution, the name was directly taken from Disney's general entertainment television and streaming service brand in Latin America with the same name.
On November 3, 2022, the Brazilian branch of Buena Vista International became Star Distribution. Star Distribution didn't have its official on-screen logo, which the logo appears only in trailers.
