Background

Solid Software was a video game division of Solid Corporation, led by game programmer D. Scott Williamson, who had left Atari Corporation in 1992 and based in Chicago.

Logo (1993-1996)

Visuals: Over the game's credits is the metallic silver word "SOLiD, with "SOFTWARE" engraved on the word.

Variant: On Mohawk & Headphone Jack and Super Breakout/Battlezone, the logo is rotated 90 degrees to the left, and the Black Pearl Software logo is on the right.

Technique: A still, sprite-based graphic.

Audio: The game's title theme.

Availability: Seen during the credits of Bubsy in Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind for Super NES and Genesis, and also on Mohawk & Headphone Jack for Super NES and Super Breakout/Battlezone for Super Game Boy.
