Background

The Société de Développement des Entreprises Culturelles (SODEC) is a Quebecois government agency founded in 1983 with the goal of promoting culture in Quebec and around the world.

Logo (1998- )


Visuals: There is the Quebec government logo, which consists of "Québec" in a Friz Quadrata font with the flag on the right. Below, there is a line while on the bottom, "Production Services Tax Credit" to the left and "GESTION SODEC" on the right. This logo is usually shown in either black or white and in the credits.

Variants:

  • There is a different variation, with the word "SODEC" in italic and the Quebec logo on the bottom. Sometimes, the name is spelled out in full.
  • Earlier on, "SODEC" was written in a stylized script.

Audio: None or the opening/ending theme of the show/movie.

Availability: Seen on films and television shows produced in Québec co-financed by the company such as such as Brooklyn, Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank, My Life Me, Frozen Land, and Playmobil: The Movie.
