Background

Sky Open is a New Zealand television network that airs imported programs from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. It launched on August 30, 1998 as Prime before changing its name to its current name on August 23, 2023.

ID (August 23, 2023-)

Visuals: The sequence starts with "OPEN" on a dark blue/magenta background with the left side of the text in white and the right in dark blue. The left side shrinks while the text zooms out. Afterwards, the magenta background shrinks, disappears, and reveals itself as a circle and a white background from behind. Said shape resizes to a smaller scale with "OPEN" left aligned within the circle and "sky" sliding out of it to the left.

Technique: Flash animation.

Audio: A whoosh followed by a deep digital bong sound.
