Background

Schlessinger Video Productions was a label of Library Video Company created to distribute educational video material to schools and universities. It was renamed in 1998 to Schlessinger Media.


Logo (1993-1998)

Visuals: There is a sky blue background where the words "Schlessinger" fly from the bottom right hand side of the screen settling into the near centerof the screen. Then a concrete teal rounded rectangle fades in followed by the words "VIDEO PRODUCTIONS" in yellow on a blue plaque fades in. Afterwards, the byline "A DIVISION OF LIBRARY VIDEO COMPANY" fade in. The border shines twice.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: A synth tune with whooshing sounds as the words "SCHLESSINGER" fly in, followed by two sets of two-note guitar strings as the rounded rectangle and plaque fade in respectively, and a quick three note triangle is heard as the byline fades in followed by a descending xylophone scale as the logo shines ending with a higher synth tune.
