Rick Reinert Productions

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

Logo (February 2, 1985-1995)

Visuals: On a black background, a red flash of light appears revealing the letter "R". Then a second red flash appears, revealing another "R". Then a third flash appears revealing a "P". In the first "R", there is a fountain pen. In the second "R", there is a paintbrush in the middle of it. And in the "P", there is a spinning film reel. When the flashing is done, the text "A RICK REINERT PRODUCTION" fades in below it.

Variant: Some specials superimposed this logo, which is slightly transparent. Recently a filmed variation (with the outro theme quite distorted from deterioration) was found, appearing on a 16mm print of The Bollo Caper.

Technique: Cel animation.

Audio: The closing theme of the program or none.

Availability: It only appeared on ABC Weekend Specials produced by Reinert, such as The Bollo Caper and the Cap'n O.G. Readmore specials. However some have been released on video (with this logo intact), like the Sony Wonder release of Precious Moments: Who's Who At The Zoo.
