Background

Rhino Films is the film division of Rhino Records.

1st Logo (May 15, 1997-)

Logo: Same as the 3rd Rhino Home Video logo, but it's filmed, has a different background, and "HOME VIDEO" is replaced by "FILMS".

Variant: A short version on a black background is seen on What We Do Is Secret.

FX/SFX: The text and the rugby ball shape coming in.

Music/Sounds: None or the opening theme of the movie.

Availability: Rare. Seen on Plump Fiction and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, among others.

2nd Logo (October 17, 2000)

Logo: On a black background, we see the signature Elvis Presley rhino fading in. After that, it fades to the Rhino logo with the text "FILMS" in the same font below the text.

FX/SFX: The fading in.

Music/Sounds: The opening theme of the movie.

Availability: Only seen on Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday The 13th.

Legacy: The “FILMS” text on the second half of the logo looks like it was quickly pasted onto the print logo.

3rd Logo (October 19, 2012)

Logo: Just the Rhino logo with the text "FILMS" in a different font below the text on a black background.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: So far, it was seen at the end of The Sessions.

Legacy: Same as the last logo.
