RMS

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

1st Logo (1984-1987)

Visuals: On a blue space background, there is a golden trapezoid with two golden filmstrips that are seen from both sides of the trapezoid. Inside the trapezoid is a TV tube shape, that has the text "RMS" inside it, all with a white ray shadow below it, with sparkles on the tube and the text.

Technique: Just the fading.

Audio: "Seconds" by The Human League.

Availability: It may appear on early and late releases of the company.

2nd Logo (1987-1990)

Visuals: On a black-blue gradient background, various colored bars are seen sliding in various directions, while the text "RMS" is seen sliding down, as it rotates back and stands upper in the middle, while a golden-white globe is seen from the top-left corner as it now slides to the right, aswell as zooming forth & back. The globe then stands next to the text as it shoots a red bar that causes the text to shine & turn into the same gradient pattern, but in blue.

Technique: Decent 2D animation.

Audio: An upbeat theme, with sparkling sounds when the text shines.

Availability: Appears on their release of The Tinderbox, among other releases of theirs.
