Background

This was the host broadcaster for the Olympic Games Barcelona '92 which was set up by the Organizing Committee for the Barcelona Olympic Games (COOB '92) and RTVE.

Logo (July 25-August 9, 1992)


Visuals: On a lagoon, there's first the Sagrada Familia temple. The temple's towers and a mosaic structure later transform into a man. Then, the scene later transitions into multiple other athletes. Then is some rowers, an archer, a fencer, some people playing beach volleyball, some athletes doing gymnastics, two judokas, some BMX racers and a sailor. Then, the diver jumps into the water which the Torre Collserola later appears. The tower shoots out the five Olympic Rings before it turns into the 1992 olympic cauldron which later transitions into the Barcelona '92 logo with the word "RTO'92" on the bottom.

Variant: During competitions, after the Barcelona '92 logo, it transitions to a pictogram for the sport shown is seen on a white background before zooming out into a white background with the words B'92 and the venue that the sport is held in. Then, the text for the sport is shown in blue, while the venue is shown in red.

Technique: A mix of CGI and live-action footage
