1st Logo (1 June 1997-28 February 2003)

Visuals: It mainly consists of an etching of Anne Bonny firing a flintlock pistol to the left. The company name is present although its font may vary on the source.

Trivia: The etching is sourced from a Dutch version of "A General History of the Pyrates" by Charles Johnson.

Variants:

  • Sometimes, the picture is seen without its box. Additionally, its colors are inverted.
    • On Life on Air, the etching is orchid and also shares the screen with the 1988 BBC logo.
    • On season 2 of The Book Group, the picture as well as the company name and copyright notice are dodger blue.
  • On Coming Soon, the company name, excluding "Production", is in red.
  • A split-screen variant used for Channel 4 programmes from 2000 to 2004 has the logo's background take up the left section and "a pirate production" is next to Anne Bonny.

Technique: A still, computerized graphic.

Audio: The ending theme of the programme.

Availability: It was seen on some concert and scripted programmes from the late '90s to early 2000s, which include Coming Soon and Art School for the normal logo and The Book Group for the split-screen variant. The latter is available on home media and VOD sites.

2nd Logo (2008)

Visuals: Essentially, it consists of a simple skull and bones image with "a Pirate Production" underneath.

Technique: A still, computerized graphic.

Audio: The ending theme of the programme.

Availability: So far, it was seen on New Town.
