Philippine Animation Studio, Inc.

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

Logo (September 9, 2000-July 8, 2011)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a paintbrush painting a streak of purple paint onto the left of the screen and the text "pasi" in a burnt orange appears on the right of the screen. Below, there is "philippine animation studio inc." in white with the first letter of each word in the text bold to represent the company's initials.

Variants:

  • On Captain Flamingo, the paintbrush animation is cut out.
  • On some episodes of Seven Little Monsters from season 3 onwards, there is usually a still logo.
  • There is a secondary version where the paint splot is larger and in a light purple. "pasi" is in a different font and bold as well as depicted in a different color being red. The text below is different in font and has additional text underneath in slightly smaller letters that says "the philippine animators group, inc. is a member company of the pasi group".
  • On Silverwing, there is an in-credit variant with the white text below the paintbrush removed.
  • On Producing Parker, the text instead reads "pagi" and the text below says "philippine animatiors group inc." instead.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: The closing theme of the show or none.

Availability: Appeared on Seven Little Monsters, Captain Flamingo on Jetix and YTV and its Filipino dub on GMA Network, seasons 3-4 of Bob & Margaret, Committed, and season 2 episodes of Moville Mysteries. It was first shown on Kong: The Animated Series.
