Background

Phenomedia AG was a video game company based in Bochum, Wattenscheid, Germany formed in 1999. It was best known for the Moorhuhn games and the franchise they have produced. In 2002, after fake balance sheets were discovered, the company was disbanded and its assets were moved to another company bearing the Phenomedia name. In 2017, Phenomedia rebranded as ak tronic Software and Services GmbH, but continued to produce games.



1st Logo (2000-2016)

Visuals: Just the text "phenomedia" in blue, with a "play" symbol inside the "o". Next to the text is "ag" or "publishing gmbh" in the same font.

Variant: Sometimes, "entertaining people" is underneath the text.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: Usually none.

Availability: Seen on many Phenomedia games until 2016.

2nd Logo (October 1, 2003)

Visuals: There is a box with the "o" from before on it, and a yellow humanoid figure with a play triangle on its head is standing on it with a dancing pose. Below the box is the text from before.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen only on Moorfrosch, which can be accessed through the game's credits.

3rd Logo (2005-2008)

Visuals: On a grey background, the "phenomedia" text is seen plastered on a grey platform. The figure from before walks onto the platform, and it tips, causing the figure to step back. He notices this and uses the platform as a balance board.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A calm, soothing orchestra tune, accompanied by the sounds of the figure and the platform.

Availability: Seen on Moorhuhn: Sky Botz and the trailer for Moorhuhn Invasion (not on the game itself).
