Background

Perfect World Pictures (also known as PWPIC) is a Chinese entertainment company. Founded in 2008, it engages in the production, distribution and marketing of film and television content, content related advertising, merchandising business, talent management business as well as investment.[1]

At the start of 2016, Perfect World announced a long term co-financing deal with Universal Pictures, which represents the first time a Chinese company has directly invested in a multi-year slate deal with a major U.S. studio.

Nicknames: "The Whale", "The Ocean", "Snow Night"

Logo: In an arctic scene at nighttime with an iceberg in the background, we zoom into the water where we see a whale swimming. It then cuts back to the iceberg where the whale jumps out of the water and falls back in. A Chinese translation of the name appears above the iceberg, followed by an English translation appearing in place.

FX/SFX: The whale swimming and jumping.

Music/Sounds: A calm piano tune, accompanied by sounds of the whale and the water.
