Background

Paxson Entertainment was the television production division of Paxson Communications formed in 1999 that produced original content for the PAX network (now known as Ion Television). The international distributor of PAX original programming was CTV until 2004. Paxson Entertainment shut down in 2005 due to PAX's decision to halt the production of original programming, upon PAX's rebranding to i: Independent Television.

1st Logo (1999-2000)

Visuals: A waving American flag is seen. A flash of light appears and the PAX logo with a white outline and "Paxson Entertainment" in a serif typeface below zooms in.

Technique: CGI and live-action.

Audio: The ending theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on Hope Island and season 1 and early season 2 episodes of Twice in a Lifetime.

2nd Logo (2000-2005)

Visuals: There is the PAX logo on a moving aura colored red, white, blue, and purple. "PAXSON ENTERTAINMENT" appears below. A star shines on the PAX logo.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: None or the ending theme of the show.
